SO … GMAs as we look forward to celebrating another Martin Luther King Holiday, it is more apparent than ever that we STILL have a lot of work to do. MLK would be 93 years old this year; 54 years since his untimely, senseless death at age 39. But in those 39 years, he accomplished more than most people do in 99 years.
SO … let’s learn from his example and continue to give of ourselves, of our talents and of our resources to those causes that will advance the MLK Dream of an America where we all are free and equal!
SO … while we’re STILL OVERCOMING, let’s not get overcome by the negativity in the world, but let’s put our energy into advancing the MLK Dream! WE SHALL OVERCOME!

A luta continua! The struggle continues! Who would have thought that in 2022, “we the people of color” will be fighting for the very freedom that MLK and the late Congressman John Lewis were beaten and jailed for…the free will to exercise our right to vote!
The staus quo is creating laws to prevent us from doing just this!
This is our moment in history to prove to them that we will not allow this to happen! It’s incumbent upon all of us to do our part in rallying our families, friends, neighbors to register and vote! Our future and that of our grandchildren depend on what we do NOW!
