SO … GMAs Inauguration Day was a GRAND day for all of us. The day was so full of positive messages that the spirit from the day carried over to the rest of the week … and hopefully beyond!
SO … there were so many historic moments to highlight from the swearing in of the first female vice president with the added bonus of her African and Indian heritage, Kamala Harris; swearing in of an intelligent, decent, and humble man as the 46th President, Joe Biden; the phenomenal first national poet laureate, Amanda Gorman; Lady Gaga, JLo, Garth Brooks; all of the other pomp and circumstances … not to mention the impressive fashions, many styled by black designers.
SO … it was truly a GRAND day … not just for us but for our GRANDS! Definitely one for the history books!

Yes, indeed! It was an historic day! I haven’t felt such pride and hopefulness since our president, Barak Obama was sworn in!
“Oh, Happy Day!” Let us continue to pray for our president, madame vice president and their administration! May God grant them robust health, fortitude and insight for the difficulty work ahead!
As for our grandchildren, I was filled with joy when I asked my 4 yr. old granddaughter who the president and vice president were, and she told me their names! We have to teach the little ones….it’s their world.

January 20, 2021 is a day that will never be forgotten! Yes, we had several first, and we had a change in our presidential office. One who spoke about the needs of the people that voted for him and those who did not. Our President spoke about unity, lets hope that his message didn’t fall on deaf ears!! Amanda also encountered us to see the light, not darkness. Its a great way to begin this week…I still have hope!!
