So … covid vaccinations have been on the minds of all Americans these days, especially GMAs. With the recent approval of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, we all will have greater availability and access to getting a vaccination to help in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus! However, the question may still remain for some whether or not to get vaccinated.
So … for me the answer is clear … All GMAs should said YES when offered the opportunity to be vaccinated. We have always represented the hopes and dreams of our families and must now set a proud and courageous example for our GRANDS …
So … to me getting the vaccine should not be undertaken as a “selfish” act based on one’s own well-being but rather a “selfless” act based on one’s caring for others.
So .. when available – don’t throw away your SHOT!!!

I can’t wait to get my shots. It will allow me to hug my grandchildren! I miss them so much.

As someone who has always been anti-vaccine, I wrestled with the idea of getting my “jab.”
I spoke to my kids and my daughter gave sensible reasons why I should get it, and my son advised that I should do my research, which I did. In doing so, I had to clear my mind of all the negative stuff and focus on the Science!
I’m proud to share that both my hubbie(who was all for it!) and I had our first jab and await our second!
We all need to do our part in getting this horrendous pandemic behind us!
So to all the anti-vaccine grandmas, get your jab so you’ll be able to hug your grandchildren once more!
