GMAs … celebrates

Juneteenth

SO … GMAs are celebrating along with the rest of the country, the new recognition given to the historic date of June 19th (1865) when slaves in Texas were read the Emancipation Proclamation announcing their freedom.

SO … as well celebrate and take great joy in the latest “social” affirmation of Black America’s fight for justice … let’s not lose sight of the responsibilities that come along with our freedom.

SO … moving forward … the Juneteenth holiday should become more than just another day off or chance to party … but a day of remembrance and preparation for the ongoing battle to maintain freedom for all … black, white, brown, yellow, LGBT … the entire spectrum of human life.

How is a rainbow made?

  1. We celebrate with others the Freedom our ancestors received! We must never forget their struggles and the hardships they endured. I celebrate and honor all Mankind!! What I know for sure is Freedom is not Free!!
